VINTAGE RETRO OAK BUREAU LAPTOP WRITING DESK DRESSING TABLE 1960s Mid century

Here is a nice piece of mid-century design from the 1960s, British made. Lovely colour and grain pattern to the wood. Solid frame finished in light oak veneers with solid oak legs and handles. A very practical compact size, originally a dressing table this makes an equally good desk. CONDITION overall for its age is good, there are of course the usual age related scratches and marks mainly to the top.

71 high to top of back bar x 105 wide x 50 deep x. 53 high x 44 wide.

The older pieces of furniture are better made, normally by craftsmen and not machines, have more character & if looked after will last many years. I also love much older pieces, if they are unusual, well made & a great design I will offer them for sale. I like to keep pieces as original as possible & will clean & re oil / wax.
